Lesley Whelan is an English artist specialising in contemporary painting with a highly textured and striking finish. Her unusual techniques enable the re-creation of the organic patterns and textures of plant life. Each piece is brilliantly enhanced with colour and they exhibit a strong sense of style and design.

Her work is shown in galleries, and held in private collections, across the UK and abroad. She has a long history of commission-based projects.
